The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated, early-career professional to join our team in a business development and origination role. This is a hands-on position within a growing company where you will gain direct exposure to deal flow, client interaction, and capital markets activity from day one. Unlike traditional entry-level finance roles that focus primarily on analysis, this role is designed to develop commercial instincts, relationship-building skills, and real-world transaction experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and originate new financing opportunities through proactive outreach to business owners and intermediaries.
- Develop and manage relationships with referral partners (investment bankers, brokers, advisors, consultants).
- Support the evaluation and positioning of transactions in collaboration with capital providers.
- Participate in the deal lifecycle, including initial screening, client communication, and execution support.
- Represent Bizi Connect at industry conferences, networking events, and meetings (local and national travel required).
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and support broader team efforts in a fast-paced environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong interest in finance, capital markets, or private credit.
- Competitive, proactive, and comfortable with outbound business development.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and able to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to work in-office full-time and travel as needed.

Additional Information
This is an in-office role based in New York City and will require occasional travel.
